The 8-story Tellus Apartments on Dexter features the new construction of 98 units, ground floor retail and two levels of underground parking. The building is located in the heart of Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood and features a rooftop terrace, landscaped veranda, fitness center, indoor bike storage, and Luxer Package locker system. It was one of the first projects in Seattle to take advantage of the new regulations that allowed five levels of wood-framed construction over a three level concrete podium above grade. Through total team commitment, the project was completed on schedule and on budget in a very challenging and demanding environment for construction.

This project consists of a new branch library with structured parking below, surface parking and associated site development. The main library level is approximately 12,500 square feet and includes book stack areas, reading room, children’s area, meeting room, restrooms, workroom, office, staff break and restroom, storage, study areas and an exterior plaza space.
